Clarendon Shelter to Governor Clement Shelter - 5.8 Miles
The Clarendon Shelter is a frame lean-to with bunks for 12 and a table inside. A brook 50 feet east of the shelter serves as the water source. The shelter itself sits in a nice clearing with real grass and lots of hardwood trees. It is very peaceful to enjoy. The shelter sits on a spur about 400 feet from the Long Trail.
As with all shelters and camps on the Long Trail, please practice Leave No Trace principles and obey all rules posted in the cabins or shelters.
