Lula Tye Shelter to Little Rock Pond Shelter - 0.7 Miles
The Lula Tye Shelter sits on a puncheon filled spur about 100 feet uphill from the Long Trail. The shelter was built in 1962 and is a frame lean-to with space for 8. Water source is a small brook further north on the LT or Little Rock Pond. There is an overnight fee and a caretaker is in residence during the hiking season.
As with all shelters and camps on the Long Trail, please practice Leave No Trace principles and obey all rules posted in the cabins or shelters.
